Polygon selection transfer problem

Hello guys,


I am working on a character that I modeled and textures in C4D.

I want to rig it with Mixamo.

I export the combined mesh in fbx and rig it in Mixamo, then import again the Tpose in Cinema.


When I want to transfer my materials assigned to the polygon selection, everything is messed up.

The new fbx mesh seems to not recognize the right polygons that are contained in the polygon selection tag.

It never happened to me in the past and I am spending too much time en that problem, so I ask your help.
