Map Buildings onto terrain

Hey guys,


I have two sets of data from Openstreetmap: Buildings and roads on a plane ground inside a null and a terrain object with y data elevation.

Is there a way to "map" the buildings onto the terrain (without killing my machine since there are A LOT of them)? So that the buildings which for example are on a hill stand elevated?


Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

We had to separate stuff out into separate files and layers to be able to work with them. The less polygons in a scene the better. Might help you for animating etc, then load the full one.


 just a thought.

Working in the viewport with the file is no problem. It's more that for example the surface deformer just crashes C4D. I just need it for a still anyway.
