Sculpting edges simultaneously

Hi there

Im stuck trying to sculpting an object, in this case a simple leaf.

The problem its when i try only affects one edge. How can i apply to the whole object?

If you check the screenshot you will see that's only affecting to one cap 😞

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Looks as if your object breaks apart on the edge, which means the polygons are not connected. Use the optimize command until the edge points are welded properly.


(You probably generated the leaf from an extrude; there should be an option that automatically connects the caps with the edge. In R21, this happens automatically.)

Just an additional note to point out that geometry made from splines is extrudes is rarely ideal for sculpting, which requires evenly distributed all quad polygons for best results.
