C4D Boolean Animation

Recommended Posts

Only what could help with bool animation is changing segmentation of objects and prayer for good result imho...

Did you play with all bool options? Try to turn off high quality while playback and check places which make troubles.

Try subdivide these objects/places (if not posible because of non-uniform mesh add multiple cuts) in different places until you find best result.

  • Igor changed the title to C4D Boolean Animation

long, long time ago there was a material based bool plugin (that made booleans not by calculating geometry, but by making materials invisible (it was fast and stable. RBoole. unfortunately it is not arround anymore 😞 ))

I have no idea wy this plugin was not used widely (and was discontinued by insydium who bought the rights for it), as it was perfect for this kind of animations.

Pls complete your profile to show at minimum what version you are using.

Boolean animation is notoriously flaky, and not really a robust solution for client animations. You can usually do a lot better with the Volume Builder.
