Baking Redshift Shaders for Unity

Recommended Posts

It is my first time doing a VR-related project. I am modeling a space in Cinema 4D for an interactive online exhibition. I am using Redshift shaders.

I was asked to bake my whole project as one fbx object with one shader. However, the Redshift BakeSet object seems to only allow baking as separate textures? What can I do?

On another note: Any tips on reflective/refractive surfaces? Reflection can't be baked, but is it possible to have good quality reflections in a browser simulation?
I would be very greatful if there is anyone on this forum who knows how Unity works and has any tips on an appropriate C4D -> Unity workflow.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you vert much for the reply, Lonchaney!
I will look into Substance Painter.

Otherwise, you might not use Redshift, but maybe you can help me understand an error message I get when I attempt to bake my textures with it: "Object uses negative UVs. Skipping." What does a "negative UV" actually mean?
