Cyberpunk 2077

So guys, CP 2077 is out. I wonder how many gamers here will play it and how many gamers we have here? 🙂

I managed to grab Collector Edition, but for this one I did it more to support CDPR and to have something nice from them, I must say CE is awesome. Statue is even bigger than one from God of War CE. And I have a nice plastic cover where all people who worked on the game have sign it, was very surprised by that.

For this game incredible amount of effort was done. I cannot imagine all the obstacles they have encountered and complexity they had to fight with. To all who participated in development, kudos to you! :respect:

I used to mainly game FPS on PC (Battlefield, Red Orchestra 2 & Squad). My Steam account is full of games that I bought on sale but never even installed. Ran into a few issues with game drivers conflict with some Octane drivers so stopped gaming.

When they announced this I was tempted to get the collector edition but decided not to. Looks amazing. Don't know how you'd have time to even play it lol.

On console the only game I play is pro-evo. On PS4 I have Witcher 3, Spiderman, God of War, Last of Us and Pro-Evo. Pro-Evo Master League is still the only one I'll play each week. I think it's because I can have a few quick games in less than an hour whereas playing other open world games it'd be a few hours of commitment.

The amount of detail gone into cyberpunk is amazing. I might get it on sale in a few years to add to the library 😛

Unfortunately I do not play games as I used to as I do not have time as I would like, but its fine, these days I play when I am fed up with 3D and everything around, rarely happens but it happens, hehe. I had plenty of time for games back in the days as I was mostly sick and games actually was kind of escape, just like this community and that's actually how love towards games and 3D in general was born on my side.

In heart I am console gamer and will always be. My first console was Super Nintendo, where one could play FIFA, Street Fighter and few more I cannot remember. ☺️

To this day I remember saving some money from my bday and purchasing my Play Station with my dad in the store where I still purchase games and consoles, its kind of tradition at this point. ☺️ Funny enough its named by dad's and my own favorite game, Zelda. I still play that game time to time. That was a game me and my dad played together, ah great memories.

From PS titles my favorite are Final Fantasy series and legendary Metal Gear Solid. More recent God of War, The Last of Us and Uncharted series...

Ill keep you updated how good CP is on PS4.  :cowboypistol:

I'll probably play it once they work out more of the glitches and work slows down.  Already waited this long whats a couple more months?!

Yes I think that's smart thing to do. I didn't expect so many issues. As someone who works as quality assurance specialist, I must admit game is beyond broken. While I do have fun playing it, even with all the issues, I do have "anxiety" because it feels like it's gonna crash on every step you take or action you do. Just wait couple of months and this game is gonna be brilliant. It's truly hard-core and definitely only for adults. 😅

Yea, it seems to be pretty broken based on reviews I've read.  There's nothing worse than getting deep into a quest and then it breaks.  That happened quite a bit when I played Fallout 4 when it was first released.  It's funny how we all pay now to be beta testers.  Mostly gone are the days when software is released fully QC'd and fully functional!

Ha, good to know you are a gamer too Igor 🙂
I pre-purchased the game for Steam, and I think so far, I am enjoying the experience.
But I can see that they didnt put the same amount of work on AI and some other minor details as they put on the environment, models, etc...
It feels a bit frustrated, specially when you are chased by a cop, how weird and outdated it feels.

But the story, the story is really good (when you dont find anyone during the quest line doing t-pose hehe)
I thought of asking for a refund yesterday, because yeah, the game is not ready...  but the story already got me hooked, so I am pushing it through!
How you liking the story so far?

Gamer here 🙂 I'm trying not to buy any more games until I've completed at least a couple off my (ever growing - damn you Steam sales and Epic store freebies!) list of games.

I have hardly even started Witcher 3 (though I completed 1 and 2). I don't put huge amounts of hours into gaming but I keep in touch a lot with what's going on. I grew up with MSX, NES, SNES, N64, XBOX360 then PC mostly. But the amount of games to play is just staggering and games like this do take aaaages.

I'm currently trying to focus on Ori and Blind Forest, then maybe Doom 2016. I also like to play World of Tanks from time to time (the only online multiplayer game I play).

So by the time I get around to Cyberpunk there will be a nice cheap GOTY edition with all the bugs ironed out 😉

Glad to see I am not alone here as gamer. 🙂

I must admit, over years a become much more picky whit what I choose to play. For the last few months I am actually playing Formula 1 as I also like driving games and its easy to jump in play few laps and simply be done.

Now, regarding CP. I will admit I feel tricked once again. First time I felt that was when Destiny was a thing. First and last game that I preordered. I didn't expect this from CDPR and pretty much they screwed us. I am having a game on PS4 Pro and its funny how bad things are. Game looks like Fallout. AI is unbelievably dumb and amount of bugs I encountered are in hundreds already and I am not talking only about game braking ones, but also the visual ones. Its simply a mess. Ill try to ask for a PC key and lets see if I get it, which I doubt but its worth of try as I purchased CE. 😄

Regarding story, so far I like it actually, thats why I am still trying to play. But I think Ill wait before I finish like KoS and simply play when game becomes polished.

I wonder if we could create a Discord channel where we would gather to just play some games as C4D Cafe community, that could be interesting. ☺️

I'm playing it, only a few hours in, but it is good.

I'm playing on Stadia as I play games in the living room not on my work PC. The graphics are a little "soft" for my liking but I'm well please with it. I've not seen any major bugs yet and it runs really smoothly.

Running my own marketing business and having 2 children doesn't give me enough time for game playing unfortunately.
