Surface Deformer on Cloth Simulation

Hi all,

 

 Thanks for taking the time to read this.

 

I have a cloth simulation onto which I'm attempting to attach a spline to using a Surface Deformer (SD).

 

The SD is largely behaving correctly, except sometimes the points lag behind their intended target.

 

I have cached the cloth sim to give the SD the best chance, but I still get inaccuracies.

 

Is it possible to increase the settings/accuracy of the SD, or is it something I need to increase within my cloth sim?

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
