Hello,

I would like to know if there is an issue with Pyside2 on R23, because I am having an issue :

PySide2/__init__.py: Unable to import shiboken2 from C:\Program Files\MAXON Cinema 4D R23\resource\modules\python\libs\python37, C:\Users\morganf\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\MAXON Cinema 4D R23_DBA5903C\python37, C:\Program Files\MAXON Cinema 4D R23\resource\modules\python\libs\python37.win64.framework\lib, C:\Program Files\MAXON Cinema 4D R23\resource\modules\python\libs\python37.win64.framework\dlls, C:\Program Files\MAXON Cinema 4D R23, C:\Users\morganf\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\python37\libs, C:\Users\morganf\AppData\Roaming\MAXON\MAXON Cinema 4D R23_DBA5903C\python37\libs, C:\Program Files\MAXON Cinema 4D R23\resource\modules\python\libs\python37.win64.framework\lib\site-packages

ImportError: DLL load failed: Le module spécifié est introuvable.

Even with the libs in the appdata python 3.7 folder.

I remember having this problem already when different versions of python are calling PySide, but in this case I'm just trying to do a "import PySide2" inside the script editor.

Any Idea ?

Morgan.

Not a direct answer but more of a disclaimer.

PySide2 is not officially supported in Cinema4D.
You might be able to make it work but it will probably through personal endeavor.

There is no official documentation of it.
And there is no known effort of being it implemented in the near future, probably never.
