  • In the content browser it makes 'mini renders' of the .c4d files which are very handy------BUT-----

I'm a save-a-holic so I end up with many .bak files. Is there any way to stop the content browser from making, or even showing files with certain file extensions? ( ie .bak, .mov etc)

    EDITED

    Thanx

You can set the default home folder for the Browser under Edit > Browser Preferences.

You need to switch out of the Simplified Browser first.

Set the Home folder from the panel that opens.

Try the two Preview options and set whichever suits your needs.

    Hi Ed,

I noticed that you had edited while I was posting. Too efficient on this forum. ;)

Sorry, I don't know if there is an option to exclude file types. It might be all or none.

Bummer of a week-end, R.10 did not arrive. The carcase of the postie now sleeps with the fishes. rolleyes.gif

    Cheers, Alan.
