  • I've been trying to find some decent size images and info about simom bisley's artwork he did for the slaine strip in 2000AD back in the mid 80's

can't seem to find much anywhere.

I very stupidly sold all my 2000AD years ago :(

He was my favourite artist at the time, used to make my weekend walking back from the newsagent, nose firmly pressed into the comic, ignoring the traffic around me,

    maybe a question there,

    who's your number 1 comic/graphic artist?

    mala ;)

A three-way tie for me between Winsor McCay(Little Nemo), Herge(Tintin), and Franqois Schuiten(Brussel)

slaine, numerous heavy metals, batman, judge dread, and my favorite Lobo...."bite me, fanboy!"

does alot of verotik comic stuff now, kinda out of my element so to speak

todd doesn't draw much anymore, i was a big fan of his spiderman and spawn. i stoped getting spawn at 100.

travis charest's "wildcats" were good, but short. stephen platt, frank miller's sin city..., martin emond's deadman/lobo, all good either technically or creatively.
