Retaining A Custom C4d Interface...forgot How To Do It!

Recommended Posts

  • Hi all,

I know there's a tutorial on this by Nigel, but it's just a quick question - I used to know how to do this - but since I upgraded to 10.5 I've totally forgottn:

If I change the font style and color, as well as the interface arrangement to my own custom setup, how do I make that permanent? I seem to remember it involves a template file or a "new" file as well as "Save as Startup Layout..."

    Thanks!

    Jim

    Window/Layout/save as startup layout.

Save as New in the installation folder. The will define how a new project opens.

Save as Template in the installation folder. The will defines how C4D opens up.

If in doubt, scream and shout.
