Keyframes

  • Hey guys..

    i have an issue with key frames...

    i key framed an object.. but now, i need to change its overall location and timing within the timeline, i selected all key frames and then moved the object to its new location... but obvioulsy... as soon as i play it.. it goes back to the initial location.... how can i do this without reanimating key frames.....?

    in max all it takes is not to have the key frame button selected and it does thr trick without affecting the animation but here.. not sure.

    You could put the object under a null and then move the null to the new location.

  • tried that...but it affects the pivot points of tehose specific objects.....makes everything crazy

    Perhaps you could zip up the scene and upload. I don't understand what you're saying about Max.

  • I key framed a series of objects, now.. i need to rearrange the position of those objects within my scene. How can i change it without having to key frame again. I tried using a null object, but it makes the pivot points go crazy.
