Replicanting Objects On A Surface

    How do I do to replicate objects on a surface? Let's say I hace a gulf course (as a surface) and I want to randomly replicate trees on it variating their size and orientation. Cloner tool?

    Yup. You could also use the array object, or even the hair object (with a low amount of "hairs" of course). :)


    I recommend you turn around....immediately if possible.....

    I think the Oban plugin does that sort of thing and it's free. I think you can download it from the Cafe's plugin department.

    You could also use Thinking Particles with a Polygon Emitter and emmit your objects on the surface. Set the speed to zero, you just might have to fix the orientation of the particles/objects.
