Merge Objects As One

  • is their any way to merge lots of different objects into just one object??

    Depends on what you want to achieve, If you just want to tide up the hierarchy or easily move everything, put it all under a null. (same as selecting both of them and right click->group objects)

    If you just want to have one mesh use the connect function. that would connect the meshes to form one.

    (only use this if you would have modeled an object that should have been one into separate pieces)

  • There are several ways, the easiest is to select all of the objects and then right click on them so that you may click the "connect" selection and there ya go!

    If there are multiple object that you would like to retain the ability to edit, you could place the objects you want to control as one object under a "null object". Once under the null, you can move about, edit, and what not as a whole object, but when you want to edit a specific part of that object again, simply select it from the null sublevel.
