Yet Another Baking Question

I'm currently working on some low polly assets that I'll be exporting in Collada.

All texture and lighting is to be baked on, and I just realised I've hit a snag.

What to do for metals and reflections? The exported object isn't going to have the luxury of picking up reflections as it is all on it's own (so nothing to reflect).

I know you can't bake reflections, but I need some kind of cheat to simulate this as this is what makes metallic textures convincing.

Can you maybe bake the environment channel instead?
