hey guys.. i've finished a "proper" release.. if you can call it that.. there are a few updates.. like cyc shape, added falloff options for lights and a few other features..

it's not supposed to be an amazing mind blowing tool.. its really just to help beginners with lighting the models etc..

let me know if there are any errors..

thanks guys!

ps. sorry about the file size.. it wouldn't compress any smaller..

It's a pretty nice plug-in imonkey. The xpresso looks majorly complex.

For those that have trouble using it you have to put the .lib4d file in

\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R11\library\browser

Then look in the content browser under presets to see it. It should be named MD lighting rig.

I do have a question. How did you make a .lib4d file imonkey?

The xpresso probably looks more complex than it really is. I just never got around to tidying it up haha. This was my first time using xpresso, so it was a "learn as you go" process.

Anyway, to make a .lib4d file you need to make a "new preset library" in the content browser. Then basically drag and drop whatever you want into that folder (library) you just created.. the final .lib4d file can be found in cinema/library/browser..

Hope that helps smile.gif

Just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful rig! I've not really made use of a proper studio setup before so it's good to have something to play with.

Cheers! :)
