Fill a jar of sweets

Recommended Posts

  • Topic Author
  • Hi,

I want to fill a jar with jelly beans for a still image. I have Mograph for R11 only. Do I need to ask a helpful member to do it for me and post the file or is there an other way?

    D :)

  • Here you go. I'd like to fill the jar to the level like the ref image attached. I used Mograph for R11 with Vray proxys, but they merge into one another :)

Youch, that's a hell of a lot of clones.

I think we'll need to cheat it a bit...

  • Yup. That's why I was using proxys. Does instance clones help?

No luck here mate, PC cant cope with all the clones. GreaseMonkey will pull through for you though, Im sure

Ooooooooooh, don't say that - I just crashed C4D. Can we scale the beans up a bit?

  • I'll find out. The jar is meant to be 2ft tall so loads of beans in it. Awaiting answer from client. Thanks guys. :)

Why not fill the centre of the jar with another cylinder to act as a filler and then just fill between that and the jar itself to cut down on the number of beans.

    Cheers
