Polygonaltrees And Jpg Background

Recommended Posts

  •  Hi guys i´m having trouble when using polygonal trees in front of a Jpg background. When placing the trees in an area that has the jpg background a type of shadow appears along  the tree leaves, as if the alpha channel was not completely transparent, but if the tree is in front of the model, lets say a wall of a building, the tree and the leaves show perfectly (as the exampe i attached). For my render settings i use global ilumination with an HDRI, colormapping and ambient occlusion. I would appreciate any help provided. thanks.

youll need to give more details of your scene.

post the c4d file if possible

Looks like you need to increase the ray depth in the render options. The default is 15, bump it up to 25 or 30 and see if this solves it.

thats to big for email also did you zip it up?

    c4d files compress a lot.

you can just post the tree image and tell me what type of Background your using if you wont.
