"fading" Off A Deformer

Recommended Posts

  • Hi Guys

I am using a flag deformer to deform a plane object to create some sea.

Is there any way to "fade off" the effect as it gets closer to the horizon so that I can end up with a flat horizon.

I guess a distance from camera falloff would be the most ideal or is there maybe another deformer that can counteract the flag one?

Some of the deformers have falloffs, but the flag one doesn't.

    Cheers

    will try again later..

Is it possible to invert a vertex map once it's been painted?
