Zoom to Object?

Recommended Posts

  • Hi Cafe,

Is there an option or plugin feature in C4D that can zoom to an object? I have this really large scene and I keep running into the constant scroll, scroll, scroll thing which is just getting redundant.

Is there some kind of point-and-fire zoom that's available in C4D? Would love to know.

    Thanks for reading.

You want to move and point the camera at the currently selected object?  You can select the object and press 'o' (zooms to the object) or 's' (zooms to selected elements: the object in object mode, selected points in point mode, selected edges in edge mode, etc.)

If that's not what you're after please describe in more detail :)

    Right on the spot.

Also , when your object is NOT in viewport, select the object in the OBJECT MANAGER = ( OM ) and click the blue arrow that comes up in the viewport.

    That's also a great workaround.

Butting "s" and "o" are the main key ingredients.
