Not much in C4D. Put all the parts together, two shaders (red LED and procedural for tiny cables) and render.

Perhaps I use C4D for model some part, but not sure. C4D is not very friendly with this kind of stuff and there is not much info about.

Sadly I had to learn others app to get this result.

Glad you like it.

Lens detail.  Lens done in C4D.

Not so good for close ups, however could work.

What do you mean by that exactly?  Light should normally pass through transparency.

I mean light in material (luminance)

Can you share your simplified scene file?  GI light is passing through transparency here unless I actively try and prevent it.

I fixed it with brightness to 300% or 500%

No worries darby. Thank you so much for your interest ;)

Anyway,if you want to try it,use the "glass-coloured" mat by default in C4D library (the teal one)

That droid looks really great, beautiful texturing. Substance is great eh?

I think it's mostly the absorption in the transparency channel that's causing this.  The fresnel shader in the transparency channel's texture slot would also dim the GI.

I find that the content browser provides a good starting point for materials (I especially like the ones that use textures) but I generally need to modify them to work within my scene.
