How to blend two objects with 2 colors like metaball ??

  • Hi everyone, 

    I would like to imitate the pictures below. I have tried to use the metaball, but it will only show either one of the color.

    I would like to know how to make this kind of blending effect.

    I can't see the picture you're talking about but one way of blending between materials based on geo is the Proximal Shader.

    Oh yes I see now - that method (using proximal as a layer mask between colours) would work for that. No problem!

    And if you copy the Luminance channel of grain's file, paste it into the Alpha channel, turn off Image Alpha, you will get a lightly colored transparent bleb.
