rendering for high resolution Branding mock up

  • am trying to render  extreme realistic  business cards and letter s for design showcase 

    i tried everything but i can reach realism render . see samples below 

    is there a tutorials or tips any one can help

    Yes I saw those. Are they what you made, in which case what do you think is wrong with them, or are they reference photos of what you are trying to make, in which case my original question still stands - what (methods) have you tried already in order to make this ?

    Boole parametric objects/nurbs

    Pure geometry/polyobject

    Material displacement

    ???

    For the first one, work on your lights, the blue text is, I assume, Shinny, so you need something to reflect in there. Easy way is to make a Sky object and but a material on there with an HDRI (image) in the luminance channel. But a few more fill lights can't hurt either.

    Card stack doesn't feel right cozz the weird camera angle, hell this almost look isometric. And again, in the real world, the table isn't pure black, so add a little area fill light there too.

    Cool detail that every card is slightly rotated.

    Without more info on the project, we are all just guessing. Physical renderer, Ambient Occlusion (lower max ray length!) and Global Illumination should help as well.
