I am aware you already submitted this to MAXON but can you please try the following?

Make a safe copy of your R18 installation then  delete Mesa folder from this location:

    /resource/libs/win64

    Does it start?

Thank you so much! Finally I can use Cinema again... I really hope on a quick fix but since Ryzen is really popular, I don't think they'll wait for long

Really weird reading about this problem. Ryzen most popular and early benchmark is Cinebench, and MAXON was not aware of the problem? Not really a problem for me, but a bizarre behaviour from a multinational that need to have all to gain from a faster CPU on the market.

Cinebench is not using MESA library therefore the issue was unknown. If you are using OpenGl capable graphics card you can safely remove it and work on Ryzen. MAXON is working on a fix to circumvent this issue.

  • Guys you know when this issue will desappear? And some one knows how to overclock ryzen 7, or a manual?

    My new computer:

    Ryzen 1700

    Aorus X370 Gaming 5

    GTX 1080 MSI

    16GB DDR4 Trident Z CL14

    THANKS!!

OK so I am thinking of buying a new system with a Ryzen 1800X CPU since it works out cheaper thatn the Intel offering. I use R15, R17 and R18 on a regular basis should I be concerned? I know they have released a hot fix but I am more worried about R17 workig since I play in that version more than the others at the moment.
