Looks slick! May we see the wire? BTW, that hand shape is such a pain to place your joints on. Good luck with that!

Thank you!

Here comes the wireframe...

And yes, placing the hand joints is a pain here ;)

Looking good! The character actually reminds me of one of the rigs of ianimate.

Right on, that was one of my inspirations on this character!

That modelling you've done there is really very rewarding :) And your work with hair is pretty great too ! Lovely job all round !

Just wondering, how long did it take you to do the modelling/sculpting/retopo?

The body is a modified basemesh from turbosquid - I don't model bodies anymore when you can have a low-poly base model with decent edge loops for $ 8. I did model the head and sculpted it a bit for details. And I sculpted the gloves and clothing and belt so there's a few folds. For the hair, it is mainly four parts: Short hair that just contours to the head and the more fancy bits that are longer and have taken some time with the hair brush. Overall, this character came to life during this week in the evenings.

Cool! Thanks for sharing your process. Modelling/Sculpting a mesh really takes my time.
