CD FBX Import/Export

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, the developer passed away.  I'm not sure if the CD tools are still available in the market. However, are there particular FBX Import/Export you are having problem with? I used the native C4D FBX importer/exporter and it works fine.

Yes I understand that.  I have problems to export animation to Unreal but solved it with this plugin. If someone would like to share it with me I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Maybe someone can help me here, I have a similar question to this topic. I want to export a little character animation from C4D to a fbx file, so then I can import it into Houdini and use it in a crowd simulation. The animation is very similar to this one in this greyscalegorrila tutorial. https://greyscalegorilla.com/tutorials/rigging-and-animating-a-simple-character-walk-cycle-in-cinema-4d/

The animation is simple, some IK expressions driving some capsules with spline wrap deformers. The problem is the animation with the IK's is not exporting to the fbx file when I open it in Houdini and nor in C4D.
