Further adding features to the latest version. For those assets that require some helper / placeholder / proxy / whatever you may call it: Disposable Polygons. This is something I wanted to provide for a long while now, but needed the "Assetizer" functionality to be able to handle this feature.

Check out the current state of Eevee in the upcoming v2.8 version (this Summer / Autum) Amazing. The hardware specs are nothing out of the ordinary: D18-0105 - i7-8700K / 16GB / 500GB SSD + 1TB HDD / gtx1080 / Win 10 Remember, this is real-time viewport stuff! Check out 2:56 where real-time refraction is demonstrated.

GI is absolutely needless when rendering glass as liquids/glass deal only with reflections and transparency, color channel should be unchecked. You may enable GI for the sake of background and the bottle cap if you insist. Same with AO - evaluate transparency must be enabled, otherwise you get nasty looking dark areas inside the bottle. You should be fine with prime, just find a good hdr image, like one of these: www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html

Hi sombear, Any place is a good place to ask questions. :-) I almost missed your post, sorry about that. That window is part of a series of similar windows that belong to the same building complex. It has been decided to put the plugin on an early retirement scheme ... The alternative solution using a script and short-cut key(s) is a much more user-friendly approach, which I actually prefer over a plugin. And it's platform independent, as well as release independent (unless the R20 SDK does break it). But all effort to make the original plugin is not gone to waste. Firstly, I learned a few things while implementation this "sneaky background" action. Secondly, it resulted in a much easier to maintain scripted solution. I will probably provide

Those are types of spline interpolation, NOT splines types !!! Those won't ever be in the list - they are in the spline properties of a spline object once it is created ! CBR

Thank you, Cerbera! One thing I want to do is replace is the stones at the bottom of the bridge with polygonal objects and clean geometry. I used Akima splines for those so the geometry is pretty messy. Since the arched parts are hidden by the stones, I could make those lower poly. You would do those arched parts without tris as well? With hardsurface models I'm always unsure. I prefer quad topology myself as well, but am wondering: as long as I only need the front surface, the polygon count wouldn't really change if I turned the tris into quads.
