I've been producing some stuff for my instagram account (instagram.com/janine4d) and these turned out so well that I uploaded the project files as well.

Upload your .c4d. It's probably some hidden overlapping poly or reversed normal.
Just FYI, looks like you have a few triangles in your model. That could come back to bite you later...
If this is a Cinema 4D related bug, then we would already have a bunch of reports about it. I think Shrek is right, something else is causing you this issue.
Looking really good! I think I'd have to see them in a full scene or in a higher res still to tell you if they're for sure working, but they're really looking nice so far. Are you using any SSS? The reflections look just a tad to glossy- maybe roughen them up a bit.
not really... working on something else animation wise at the moment... but here's a quick render of a camera move...
i had that deer in a previous short film project which i abandoned... maybe i'll pick it up again and redo the shaders...
Thanks all for nice comments. About this idea of cleaning oceans, my job was just to present their idea with this 3d animation, following their storyboard and instructions, I was not involved in creating/changing idea, just making 3d stuff.

Thanks, I tried all the Redshift ideas but no luck, so I'm going down the PS route :)
