  1. Hi all, This community must know of a few gems of videos/tutorials that illustrate how they go about texturing. I'm especially looking for different styles, and focusing on nature, landscape, terrains, flora, and buildings... Any nice tutorials come to mind? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hm I noticed that when I take the bend deformer away, it stays how it should. Still not sure as to why.
  3. Hi folks, There's something weird with the animation in the file I attached. I did nothing weird (that I know of ) to cause this. If I manually set it to frame 0, no problem, it plays like I want it to. But if the animation runs till the end and starts over, the table shifts back to the center of the axis, to later on glitch back somewhere around frame 40. Do any of you have any experience with this? If I reposition everything, the monitor won't animate properly anymore, seems like a constraint glitch. I would really like to have an explanation as to why t
  4. Thank you for your kind words Too bad I probably have to bake it to see how it renders. But then again it's not that much work. https://dmvd.stackstorage.com/s/mPqnTuuSUx1ZEBl Right now I testrendered a draft but the water looks really very rubbery. I've tried my best to tweak the settings in the collider and the jiggle. A falloff makes sure the water doesnt get stuck to the tail much (while glitching a lot) but surely this is probably not the best way to go about this. Am I forced to have a look at realflow or smth, or can the water look more realistic in c4d? (I'm n
  5. Uhm sorry, no that octane plugin is a demo that is just for trying out. I should have removed it since it gives an error probably? I'm not using it in the file. I've updated it.
  6. My live viewport shows it all like I want it to be, then I hit render and the boat stays in the same spot. I have the feeling it has to do with the displacer material that doesn't affect the constraints, but if so - I would like to understand why that is. Is there a way to have it working besides baking everything? I would like to continue editing the result. Or is it something else entirely? I've already read quite a few topics about what could cause the renderer to behave like that. I tried switching to the psr contstraint, changed every order of priority in the constraint tag, t
  7. Hi everyone, My name is Ditmar, not really new to C4d, but still a rookie on many fields. I'm a designer and illustrator, and I like to work a lot with animation, and hope to continue to do that even more. Recently bought Cinema and plan to master it completely Not really aiming for complete realism, but more to understand the basics and figure out my own style. Hopefully the forum can help me find solutions to the problems that now are causing my projects to fail Nice to meet you all!
