  1. Hi, I'm looking for some tips on how to make some short animated clips with a simple geometric pattern that has some animation and lighting effects to make it look 3d. There's some links here for a better idea of what I mean. 2. Hope someone can offer some assistance.. I've followed several tutorials and am not quite getting there!! I have Illustrator CS5 and C4D Studio R15.. I want to make 3d objects of things like the flower of life, metatrons cube, and other geometric shapes that I'm making with a cool site called Geokone.. geokone.net/ I'm new to both C4d and Illustrator but am a little more familiar with Photoshop (CS5) The method I'm trying is to save the illustrator file in illustrator 8 format so it imports into C4D but when I open them it doesn't separate the object I want to extrude from the dimensions of the document.. so all i get is a rectangle I'm sure there's several ways of doing this but I've tried several and am getting nowhere!! please can someone offer some advice
