  1. R23 have another issue that is not fixed / listed in the update list ,its in the pose library, it still happen to me till today : when you animate a heavy character with half M poly or so + a lot of controllers , and you select every controller "that control the joints" and you click ( add pose ) C4d freeze and wont let go unless you kill the process .... and the weird thing is when c4d freeze an you look at the cpu usage , at that point c4d is using 0% means it stop functioning completely not as some of us may think that it maybe caused by a heavy processing in the cpu , its some

  4. @Cerbera its a very basic and simple setup that's why i didn't bother including a picture its just i have human face -> i add point morph tag -> i select the points around the eyes -> i move them to look like a closed human eyes -> then when moving the slider the eyes close and open , that's it . nothing fancy , and then boom ! ... i realized i need each eye with it own slider .... i'll try your suggestion thanks for trying to help here
  5. i animated a character eyes blinking using points Morph then after long process i realize that i forget to separate each eye so i can do a wink animation , so that's my question basically can i separate each eye from the points i already animated in the Morph ? i kinda don't wanna go over the whole process again of selecting point by point and redoing everything x) any solution would be much appreciate it

  7. an issue that appear to happen to me only when using octane is when i use (opacity material) on hair it hides the object behind it ( the head / forehead of the character ) and as you can notice there is a head polygons behind that hair : i used same texture in redshift also in normal render both works perfectly but in octane i run out of time since i have a deadline of delivering my project and im stuck in this issue right here .... any solution as fast as possible ??!

  10. hi all, as you can notice in the video i have a mechanical arm/leg i set it up using IK tag and my issue is when i move the IK goal , a glitching / jumping happen in the middle of animation : _150450.mp4 the object manager : the < shift priority tag > i add on the parent null was to test if shifting the priority could solve the problem but i didn't it still the same ik settings : my C4D version is R20.059 so i would like to know what causes this issue and how to solve it i
  11. @Cerbera @bezo when i changed the Shadow Density in the right side light i noticed this : from 200 > 500 Density or up : under 100 Density : but i lose the dark shadow effect if i do that !! any idea ? also even when the density is under 100 there still a small line showing up in middle of his Biceps if u can notice in the second picture
  12. @Cerbera looks like the mesh normales in the effected area are current there is no blue polygons there :/ @bezo hello man , thanks for the replay , i dont have reflection in the skin material , so do you mean Diffuse in the light is the problem ? should i disable it ?
  13. @Cerbera hey thanks for the replay :) actually there is nothing fancy in my Materials just a normal skin texture added into "color" channel : and Unfortunately the character in this project is private for a customer so i only can upload the lighting setup in my project : my lighting setup.c4d if u could take a look at the lights settings and see if i made a mistake in any of them , i appreciate your help and by the way the issue is only showing when i enable the diffuse in this light and not in the other lights in the list :
  14. hey guys , im facing a really weird issue here when i stared lighting my 3d character when i activate shadows and keep the "diffuse" option enabled some lighted color lines show up on the skin : the diffuse option im talking about : and its even become worse if i change the "(shadows maps)" from Soft to Hard : any idea why this is happening ?!! and any idea how to fix it ? .
  15. heyyy people , i had a character with a long hair ! and i wanted to short that hair so i cut it and then filled those holes using "bridge tool" after that my Texture has filled those holes in a wired way : it look like the whole texture have been compressed in this small polygons and i couldn't fix that !! any solution ?? im using Cinema 4D last version "R20 .059"

  17. @jed thats perfect wow ! .. didn't Expect the first object in a Hierarchy to effect the whole Squad ! i apply it and it works .. but one more thing missing :( when i apply it , the sub fingers rotate in a one line with the parent fingers and not individual instead id like to be able to control them this way ( which how the real fingers supposed to do ) : the join list looks this way : Note : Finger.ch means finger child or it can mean sub finger too -----------------------------------------
  18. hey guys i wanted to know if its possible to animate a list of objects (fingers joints) using a hierarchy node in XPresso instead of including all of them one by one which is very messy and very exhausting and time consuming as you can see here : in this example i wanted to rotate all the fingers and causing the hand to close in an organised way i want to control all of them without adding them all to the Xpresso to avoid the Chaos .. so the first thing came to my mind is using hierarchy node but it dos not give me an in
  19. @smantik ,the sweep tool give me a messy result and dosnt shape the splines as i want @bezo , well that's not the result i wanted , it give me thick 3D spline in Z and Another 3D spline in X separated and going across each other so from the top side it will show up some sort of a Letter X instead i wanted both splines to get combined together to create a 3D shape let me show you an example : from this 2 splines : one lined in X and one in Z : you get a 3D shape look like this : that's what i meant , to get a 3D shape based on the f

  21. @natevplas problem solved thank you , i found a triangles inside my object under the front polygon , its really weird thing from C4D to give the overlapped triangles the ability to appear above the front polygon , is that happen in all C4D versions or only the old ones ?
  22. hey , i was modelling a text cutting lines in the middle and making them extruded a bit but then a weird Buckling showed up only in rendering view : but in normal view that Buckling is not seen : i could find anyway to fix it !!!!!!! Welpppp
  23. hey guys , most of the rendering engine websites i visit offer only 64-bit version for the software or the plugin but my issue is i still running a low cpu that does not work well with 64bit windows ( if you are wondering why i still have this junk and cant buy a new computer that's a long and sad story .. ) anyway as the title said if you guys lead me to any render engine offer 32bit version ill appreciate this a lot more then you think i have 2 clients one of them asking for a high resolution and quality motion graphic videos and the build-in render setti

  25. hey guys as the title said i lost a pallet that usually come under the Material pallet to show information about any object or any tool you hover the mouse on ! : id like to recover it so if anyone know where i can find it Note : i cant restart the Layout to default "startup" because i have a custom Layout with way much modifications and custom tools and the problem is i saved upon my custom Layout after i deleted this pallet !
