  2. Thanks for the reply. I have tried this but am struggling to get a ‘useable’ value from the spline field (e.g. a number). Is there a node I can use to see what value is being returned? Or is that not possible for information which is spline based? Is it possible to convert this info (eg maximum height of spline) to a number? (sorry for all the questions - Xpresso novice!)
  3. Hi, I’ve created a ‘heartbeat’ effect using a plain effector with a time field set to a curve (see attached file). I was wondering if there was any way of extracting this heart beat spline value to drive other animation attributes - e.g. the emission rate of an emitter etc - via Xpresso?   4. Hi, I'm looking for a method, using Mograph, to input a spline waveform which controls the scale of an object as it plays through the spline. E.g. Inputting heart beat waveform (or similar) in the spline section of an Effector which then plays through to control the scale (or other attributes) of an object. Any ideas or tips on where to start with this would be great, Thanks!

  8. Hi, I am trying to 'grow' a vertex map across some geometry using Fields in R20. I have set my vertex map with a single point set too 100%, then activated Fields in the tag & set the Freeze layer to Grow. However nothing is happening - am I missing a step?   9. Hi, I have a scene with a few splines in a cloner, which are then effected by a displacer using a spherical field. I then connect these using a connect object and sweep them using a single sweep nurbs. I would like to use Redshift to control the material over the fall off of the spherical field only but am struggling to work out how in the shader graph. Hi, I am looking for a way to control the luminance of a clone via effectors - for example: a grid of clones is ‘coloured’ various random luminance values (but not black) - then when an effector passes through them, they fade to black. I’ve attached my set up so far - if anyone has any ideas on how to do this, that would be great! Thanks for your time, :) diamonds.c4d

  12. Thanks for the quick response - and the R20 advice. I do have access to R20 so some tips on the new color workflow there would be great. (Also in the example you provided the colours don't seem to be affected by the height unless I am mistaken, they just animate in?) Thanks!
