    Animating Extruded Splines

I tried that but, making the edges smooth in AI was more difficult for me than trying to do it in C4D. I am sure I am making this harder than it needs to be but, I guess I can mark it up as a learning process.

    Animating Extruded Splines

I think the spline mask accomplishes what I am initially looking for. I know its basic but, with some effects in AE it should meet my needs. Have you ever had C4D stop showing updated changes while editing a project? I had a tutorial open and part way through my work C4D stop showing the changes I was making. I had to relaunch the program.

    Animating Extruded Splines

Thank you for the advice. I will check out the tutorials and the .zip file and let you know what I end up doing. Hope you both have a good weekend.
  4. Not sure where to posts this question & I am relatively new to C4D. This project is intended to be used as part of my motivational video for our football team. I made part of a logo using splines and the extrude function. It is separated out into 3 pieces and I want to animate them. How do I make it grow along a path while maintaining its design? My end goal is to create the scene in C4D and then export it to AE for fine tuning. I understand AE so I am not too worried about that part of it. I have inserted a photo of what I am trying to achieve. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
