    Need help creating a plane from splines

  2. So I have this grid pattern that i am importing from Illustrator (saved down to 8). I know C4d converts illustrator paths to splines. I then connect all the splines into one spline by connecting the objects + delete and add an extrude on top. I want to ultimately have a flat plane with polygons, edges , and vertices with this particular pattern. I then want to move the vertices around manually. Anyways, I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong but it's not working the polygons are acting funky, Can anyone help? I've attached the AI file and an Image of my issue. gi-st-022.ai

    Texture issues

    So i'm adding a custom texture specifically to polygons that are equilateral triangles. Attached I have an image. On the two polygons on the left they align perfectly in the center but for some reason not so much on the 5 polygons on the third object. They are using the same texture settings on uvw mapping. Anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this?
