Hi guys, I'm trying to make a fox tail model to add to some cosplay photos later in photoshop but I haven't figured out the best way to add the hair to the mesh yet, I also haven't really used this part of C4D much so I'm having some difficulties. Here's the mesh I'm working with: Something like this would be the ideal look: Would it be better to use the "Add hair" tool or the "Fur" tool? I'm also not sure which is the best way to groom the hair properly. Thank you in advance!
  2. Hi Dan, I think your tutorial is exactly what I'm looking for, it's been really helpful not only for this particular issue but for a whole lot more. Deeply sorry, I haven't had the time yet to watch it fully and get back to you since I'm doing a million things at once lately. From what I've watched though, I think I'm beginning to understand how animations function. I cut the middle section of the animation where the character would be looking to the left, the idea would be to put this part of the animation in the layer below and then change the rotation of the head, so when the last part of the animation begins it transitions smoothly if I understood right? I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to animation, so any indications on how to achieve this are greatly appreciated hahaha Thanks again for the help, I can also provide the file of the scene if needed.
  3. Thank you for your answer, unfortunately I don't have a cineversity premium account :( While looking for some options I've tried to group the neck and head into a null object and keyframe it, but sadly it did not work.
  4. I think I know what you mean. I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly . If I understood right, you mean to add a clip of the character stopping and looking back animation in Mixamo right? I was looking for something more like the character looking to the left while it's walking and then forward again while the body movement is happening. I made a gif of the animation I have right now for some more context. The goal would be for the head movement to happen while the body movement remains the same.
  5. Hi guys, I'm having a bit of a problem with this project. It's one of my first times working with animations in C4D and Mixamo. The scene is basically a few characters moving forward in a platform. Right now I have a composition of 2 animations in the timeline, 1 walk cycle and 1 animation that stops at an edge. The objective would be for the character to walk forward, turn her head left to look at the background and then look forward again. I've noticed that the neck has a lot of keyframes that move the head slightly, but surely there must be a better way than to manually change each frame right? Thanks in advance!
