  1. Thank you all for the replies. Will test it in C4D :).
  2. Hello, I'm wondering if there is any way to add new lines like he does in this video (have attached a timestamp for the youtube video). I'm working on modeling a camera lens and I need to add extra lines for the subdivision. But I don't know how to add extra lines to the selected part. And I was wondering if there is any way in C4D to do this similar to the one in the youtube video? Thank you!
  3. Hello, I've attached an image showing what I'm trying to do. Basically, I'm trying to make 11 identical polygons in the correct place. I've tried using the Cloner effect and Array effect but I can't seem to figure this out. Either get the polygons in a half-circle, but then each polygon is rotated wrong. Or I get them to be rotated right, but then not in a half-circle. Hope I explained my problem okay to understand. Thank you!
  4. Hello, I'm trying to cut equal parts of a geometry. I've attached an image of a geometry I would like to cut in 3 equal parts, horizontally. I've seen some tutorials where they would use the ring selection to select the outer lines, then press some keys and cut first in half, then in thirds and so on. Do you guys know the shortcut for this? Hope I outlined the problem clearly. Thanks!
  5. Hello, I'm sure this is very easy to fix, however, I've been googling and I can't seem to find out how. When I try to use my knife tool, a white highlight is blocking my view of the grid in the background. Is there any way to get rid of this white highlight? Thanks!
  6. Hello, Been trying to figure out how to make these triangles in the case but with no success. The only way I can figure out is to make a spline like the triangles, copy it once more and add a loft. Then put it all into a Boole at the case. But this doesn't seem like the most efficient way to do this. At the same time, I don't know any other way to get the exact same triangles made like the once in the case. Anybody else knows how to make those triangles? Thanks!
  7. This is an excellent advice, never thought of it. Thank you :).
  8. Would it be better to go for a AMD Ryzen 7 1700X then? I could get it for about the same price as the i5 8400. Edit: I'm not looking to overclock. Just because I don't want to screw up any warrant on the components.
