    Invisible triangle

Ah ok, I'm new to all of this, especially modeling. I want to keep the face geometric, so I'm not going to subdivide it. I'm going to have to research this non-planar thing. Thanks for the help!

    Invisible triangle

Hi, I'm having a strange problem. I've modeled a head by cutting up a cube but, even though the viewport shows a flat plane, the render shows some additional triangles. I've gone to the Structure Manager and I don't have a fifth column, so I know there aren't any n-gons. I've also intentionally removed the phong tag. How do I get rid of these invisible triangles? Thanks!

I love the idea of having the letters interact with the background. Thanks for the feedback, DeCarlo.
  4. Hi all, I'm practicing my C4D. Still a beginner. Please let me know where I could improve. Thanks!

    3D to 2D to 3DFlat

Hi, I have a strange question. I'm a beginner at C4d so I'm hoping someone here can help me and point me in the right direction. Is there a way to take a 3D model and flatten it into a 2D image that can be manipulated in 3D space? For example, I want to take a 3D model of a car, find an angle I like, and flatten it so that it appears almost like an image in a pop-up book in 3D space. Then, if I want to change my mind about the car's angle, I can manipulate the original 3D model/camera angle and have that update the flattened version. Right now I imagine doing this n C4D, exporting the images to Photoshop, and then importing 2D images back to C4D, but I'm wondering if there's a more streamlined way of doing it all in C4D. Thanks for your help!
  7. Hi everyone, I"m brand new to C4D. I'm looking for feedback to help me improve and grow. Any suggestions are helpful. Any tips?
