  2. Hey guise, Is there a quick way to merge a line consisting of A LOT (ca. 3000) single line segments into one joined line? The points of each segment are perfectly on top of each other, but they are not joined. I could join segments / weld them manually but that would take up a lot of time. Is there a quick way to do that? Thanks, Dave Coastline.c4d
  3. Working in the viewport with the file is no problem. It's more that for example the surface deformer just crashes C4D. I just need it for a still anyway.
  4. Hey guys, I have two sets of data from Openstreetmap: Buildings and roads on a plane ground inside a null and a terrain object with y data elevation. Is there a way to "map" the buildings onto the terrain (without killing my machine since there are A LOT of them)? So that the buildings which for example are on a hill stand elevated? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Hey guys, I just created a bunch of clouds via Pyrocluster and TP inside multiple objects. Even though they all properly render in the viewport, only the first of the objects render in the picture viewer. I can't figure out what went wrong. Can someone help? Thanks a lot! Clouds.c4d
  6. Hey, thanks a lot! That's a nice effect and I will definitely keep this one in mind. My problem seems to be that there are multiple objects in my cloner which prevents them from being affected individually by the plain effector (and others). I attached the file now, how it helps to understand what I want to achieve. thanks again! Ringe_Forum.c4d
  7. Hey guys, I am trying to get this to work since yesterday, so I finally created an account after lurking for years: I have some concentric rings. They have an A- and B-texture on the front and back. I want to animate a flip from A to B with a bit of randomness individually. So some faster, somer slower. I failed to find the right effector for this: random does not let me get them in B-position precisely, plain and shader flip the cloner as a whole. Does anybody have a tip for me how to achieve that? thanks!
