  1. If it´s inverted normals or not you could to find out if you select all polygons on object. If in polygon mode all polygons are yellow, all is fine, but if few polygons are blue colored, they have inverted normals (like in this example) To solve this issue you can try command "Align Normals" U~A shortcut (while selected all polygons or none). Or just select "blue" polygons only and use command "Reverse Normals" U~R shortcut...
  2. maybe inverted normals, breaked phong shading or disconnected polygons...
  3. btw, it´s simple to make cylinder from ribbon (and then use all UVPeeler benefits)... First select all polygons (for later use) and in edge mode select border edge loops and use stitch and sew command to make "tube". After adjusting uv´s simply remove polygons created with stitch and sew command (here will be used previous all selected polygons)
  4. 4 wire example - use sweep object with rectangle spline, convert to polygons, select all edges from start to end, convert them to splines and these use for wires. This way you get even distance between wires ( when you imagine rectangle corners are "midpoints" of wires)
  5. ...need to more tweeking all parameters since there are differencies in PBR workflow and c4d materials
  6. Here are prices from my local distributor (google translator used to translate czech/english). Something similar you can expect across Europe I think... (VAT in my case is 20 percent) https://translate.google.sk/translate?hl=sk&tab=wT&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fobchod.digitalmedia.cz%2Feshop%2Fkatalog.aspx%3Fkat%3Dmxc4d My MSA is also at the end of life btw...
  7. If you make money with this card ( customers/job will pay it), it´s doesn´t matter of price. Other question is if you´re hobby user...
  8. When you´re in f-curve mode, set keyframe slider to keyframe where you want add a key and with CTRL click to intersection of f-curve and keyframe slider...
  9. and what is a lesson?... ...never buy graphic cards immediatelly after their release...
  10. In Move,Scale or Rotate mode simply right click on some part of transform gizmo and select "Object" instead of "Axis".
  11. Hello Rustam, Welcome on C4DCafe, hope you will enjoy time with us and will learn something new.
  12. or use 2 textures with one offseted (no tiles)
  13. You can create selection set and apply image only on that selection. Or in UV edit layout select edge polygons (marked as NO) and move them into place where image is pure white... But if you create correct uv´s and adjust them directly to image, you will not see image on this folds...
  14. If is deformed mesh (polygons are stretched by joints) texture will be also stretched...
  15. Can you post some example page? or rigged mesh only...
  16. What kind of projection you used? Maybe adjust scale/offset in one side...
  17. Did you tried layers? Turn off generators, expressions, visibility etc...
  18. here is short video and scene file https://www.dropbox.com/s/9sm3jqxr7ujf06c/WPOL.mp4?dl=0 WPOL.zip But there is nothing special, with vertex map you drive visibility in plain effector, that´s all.
  19. Check few things maybe. Go to Object Manager/View/Go To Main Level (maybe you´re not in most top level of hierarchy). Check layer manager (if not retricted/locked /disabled layer)
