  8. Yo u can use constrains to attach to various option, or even use Xpresso. Simply add a constraint tag to object you want to attached and explore the options

  10. Create a cloner and simply clone onto the spheres polygon centers. Then you can convert the cloner and connect all the cylinders into single object and boole the sphere

  12. Sounds like a job for set driver command Right click on your Z position of null object and go set driver, then right click on alembic parameter you want to affect and go set driven. This should create simple Xpresso where you can tune the details in range mapper
  13. If you need the bend to go in opposite direction you can just bring the middle joint upward so it's Y value is higher then end points. Would be also good to name objects properly For this kind of rig it is also good idea to use zeroed frozen values to be able to reset controls

  19. Alembic is external format so it draws all data from "outside". What you can try is (not in front of machine atm so can't try) is create a copy of the mesh and use posemorph to drive it by alembic file, then add some other morphs to it...
  20. Remove the connector since I don't see why you need it in the scene and then set trigger velocity threshold to -10. This solves it for me. The whole problem you are experiencing is that whole dynamics (that includes gravity too) are triggered on collision. If force is not strong enough to reach all pieces they will stay stationary. You can also try to keyframe trigger type as another approach. Hope that helps
  21. Would be easier with scene file since we don't know how you have things set up, however, Posemorph simply transitions from state A to B. So, if you want to save some poses it is better idea to create morphs per controller. With that being said, you should consider not having morphs for controllers which simply takes away your freedom in positioning...

You have one option here if you decide to keep this kind of rig and that is to create two copies of the rig, one with dynamics where all collision will be registered and one where you control it all with joints. Then you need a third receiver rig where you can mix the two as you see fit. For mixing you can use Posemorph or Xpresso
