  1. I'm trying to create a wood floor made up of 4 or 5 different lengths. The plugins I've seen don't allow for random lengths (Floor Generator by C4DZone and the Floor Generator Script by Josef Barrah). I was hoping to create the entire floor in Mograph; however, I can't figure out a way to get the different lengths to touch "end to end". It seems C4D uses the object axis center and I need it to recognize the bounding box. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work? I have tried spline wrap and the arrange command with no luck too. Thanks, Kevin
  2. Quad Remesher works flawlessly most of the time. I can't figure out for the life of me why it's having no effect on this geometry. I would highly recommend you make the purchase. I use it for manufacturer models in non-C4D formats that are highly triangulated. Quad Remesher is a one click solution (at least it has been for me). I'll most likely send this mesh to the developer. Thanks again for the help. Kevin
  3. It's hideous, alright! I never thought to check the material tag. Thanks so much Cerbera! Now I have to figure out right Quad Remesher isn't altering the topology. Thanks again!
  4. Here's the file. Thanks for taking a look. ARMCHAIR.zip
  5. I've got a really crappy model of a chair that I imported from 3D Warehouse. I want to use Quad Remesher to correct the geometry, however, the plugin has no effect as the polys are transparent when viewed from the rear of the normal direction - images attached. I thought it might have something to do with backface culling - but, no. I have never seen geometry behave this way. How do I correct this so that both side of the single faces are shaded and I can therefore use my plugin. Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the replies. If you can't use the arrow keys to nudge selections, how do you handle aligning selections (more specifically text in this case)? For example in this current project, I have a row of text that will circle a range knob (see attached). How do I ensure that all the text is aligned vertically. Does BP have grid snapping or guides? Is it possible to work with vectorirzed text? I am so used to Photoshop, but thought I would try this exercise in BP as the visual feedback is immediate. I would appreciate any advice on how to go about this. Much thanks, Kevin
  7. I’m working in BodyPaint after a long absence. Is it possible to use the arrow keys to nudge selected parts of the image like in Photoshop? They appear to move the canvas when I use them. I am working with text that needs to be placed precisely and the ability to nudge would be quite handy. Also, is it possible to see the object you are painting and the texture view at the same time? I can only toggle back and forth between the “View” and “Texture” windows. Any advice would be a real time saver as I have searched the web with no luck. Thanks, Kevin
  8. Anyone using Xfrog 5.5 w/ R18 successfully? For some reason, the plugin does not show up under plugins. The plugin folders (2) are in the plugins folder and I installed the recommended distributable. I am running R18.057 (Build RB203954) with Windows 7 X64. Posting anything at the Xfrog forum seems of little use. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
